HEADCANNONS

⊹︎ Dottie was born and raised in the US in western Tennessee. Though she does have a slight southern drawl from time to time, it’s not as prominent as it is with others. This is due to the fact her mother raised her away from most people so it wouldn’t develop as strongly.

⊹ ︎As a kid, she was bullied not just for her weight, but for her name as well. kids would tease her about being a “fat old lady”. her friends tried to get her nickname “dot” to stick but it never did. she was always the “fat old lady”. It wasn’t until she went off for college when she could start fresh that her nickname “dottie” began to stick.

⊹︎ Jobs over her teenage and early adult years have taught her to come out of shell more; now becoming slightly more extroverted than before. Though she is more introverted than anything, sometimes purposefully avoiding people so as to not speak to them.

⊹︎ She’s shy and awkward when she meets someone new. She’s always afraid her awkwardness or weirdness will cause people to leave her.

⊹︎ Once she is more comfortable around someone, her more weird and outgoing side emerges. She’s louder, curses more— basically a living, breathing gremlin.

⊹︎ Having a father growing up who had anger issues, she was taught to not say anything to anger him and to keep her thoughts and feelings bottled up. Due to this, she has developed an issue with communication.

⊹︎ She developed a thyroid condition in her middle school years. Upon receiving her treatment, her thyroid was fried so she no longer can produce hormones normally. She takes synthetic hormones daily.

⊹︎ Because of the thyroid condition she has anxiety issues, depression, mood swings, panic attacks, weight issues, etc. the list could go on and on.

⊹︎ she has severe ADHD, possibly suffers from autism, and slight OCD tendancies.

⊹︎ She 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴 vegetables, with the exception of mushrooms. It’s not a taste thing more so than it is a texture thing. She’s tried many times to eat them, but the texture makes her want to vomit. However, if they are boiled down like in a stew she can and will eat them.

⊹︎ ︎Dottie is littered with freckles btw. They’re heavily on her shoulders, but she has them on her chest, her thighs, her arms, her face. She has a few moles as well. Most on her thighs, arms, and one at the top of her ass crack. Yes, her ass crack ⁄(⁄ ⁄•⁄~⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄

⊹︎ Dottie had a bad past. Her relationship with me has never been a good one. She’d never had a serious relationship until she was in her 20s and the man she was with mentally abused her through the entirety of their relationship. The physical abuse didn’t start until the end of their two-year relationship. At that point, she was scared for her life and felt like she was on the edge of losing her mind. He also raped her after the physical abuse started. He saw her as nothing more than a bank account, a hole to use, or someone to take his anger out on.

⊹︎ A few years later she got into another relationship. Though he wasn’t mentally or physically abusive, his anger issues were a problem. He was always jealous and insecure about her cheating on him. He would get angry with her if she wouldn’t sleep with him when she would come to see him since they were long distance. She never told him, but she would sleep with him sometimes and cry during sex when he was behind her.

⊹︎ Because of these two relationships, she’s always afraid of making someone angry for saying no to sex or anything in general. Like she’ll be left or abused if she doesn’t give them what they want.
